A pilot must increase the attitude of his airplane and the angle of his wings to the relative wind before the airplane will fly. This increases rate at which the air flows over the top of the wing there, creating a low pressure (the Bernoulli Principle). The same is true in the online home business. Your attitude will determine your altitude.
I was impressed by a recent online video conference by internet marketers Chris and Susan Beesley of the UK illustrating this principle. They outlined 5 steps to a winning attitude. They include: 1. “The Good Stuff” or the dreams in our lives that include family, charity or the why-you-do-what-you-do in life. 2. “The Stuff You are Willing to Give Up” to attain financial security especially in the online internet business. 3. “The Scary Stuff” that are things we consider distasteful such as selling, autoresponders, social media or building a web site. 4. “You Must Plan!” If you skip this step, you have most certainly planned already…to fail. We must write down the plan (goals) in an organized manner beginning with long-term goals then monthly, weekly and daily goals or plans. 5. “Determination” or commitment. You must be absolutely determined to be successful no matter what!
Without the right attitude toward DOING each of these steps we are only couch potatoes. Nothing ever seems to happen and our failure is secure. No one ever accomplished anything without first thinking about it, planning and then carrying out the plan. If we become discouraged early in the process, we loose sight of our goal and leave the path of success. For the thousands of times Thomas Edison attempted to make an electric light bulb HE NEVER GAVE UP. Indeed, he eliminated a thousand ways it would not work to find the one way it did! His determination and attitude toward his goal together with his absolute determination to see it happen brought us the incandescent electric light bulb. Ever seen one?
Online home businesses require the same kind of Edison attitude and determination. There are many bells and whistles that must first be learned before monetary rewards begin to happen. It is incumbent on the new marketer to make the sacrifice of time to get online training and figure out just how to do it!
Remember, your attitude really will determine your altitude in the online marketing business!
